Pendower Beach lies on the Roseland Peninsula on the South coast of Cornwall, just west of Nare Head.
It is a southeast facing beach of sand and rocks - with the east end of the beach usually the more sandy.
At low tide Pendower connects with Carne Beach just to the east, making a 1½ mile long stretch of crescent-shaped sand.
The beach is popular with families and has some fine views of Gerrans Bay. Parking is available nearby at the centre of the beaches, where Pendower joins Carne. Access to the beach is easy, with disabled access. Dogs are permitted on leads.
Refreshments are available at the nearby luxury 'Nare Hotel'. The Hotel has the distinction of being rated by the AA as the 'Best hotel in Cornwall' every year for the last 15 years, and is in a great location to visit the whole of the picturesque Roseland Peninsula.
