St. Austell Mining District - Treverbyn, Knightor, Ruby & Trethurgy MinesOS Explorer Map 106: Grid reference SX033564 Treverbyn, Knightor, Ruby & Trethurgy Mines lie about three quarters of a mile east of Penwithick, between and Bugle and St Blazey in the Luxulyan section of the St. Austell Mining District. They were four adjoining mines working on an iron lode producing 58% to 66% metallic iron. There were two known shafts on the lode: Butt's Shaft and Floyd's Shaft.
