Welcome to the Fountain Inn. We are located in the far west of Cornwall providing warm and friendly accommodation in our historic granite inn. Whatever the season you choose to visit we have something for you from a roaring log fire in winter to dining outside amongst the flowers in the summer. br / br / br / br / All our rooms have been sympathetically restored and refurbished during 2012 to offer an excellent standard of accommodation. br / br / The bedrooms have kept their oak beams exposed granite & original fireplaces while the en-suite bathrooms have been brought right up-to-date with brand new equipment. br / br / br / br / Rooms also come equipped with TV and WiFi internet access. br / br / br / br / The Inn has been serving passing travelers for over 250 years With much of the building dating from circa 1750. br / br / We now serve ales and traditional ciders straight from the barrel so your drink tastes as good as it can be no beer sat in the lines here. br / br / br / br / We also serve good simple pub grub if you are in need of some sustenance as well as refreshment. br / br / br / br / Due to previous experiences we no longer accept Tradesmen. br / br / No children under 12. br / br / br / br / The Inn is usually open in the evenings from 6PM to 10:30PM. Breakfast is served between 7:30AM and 8:30AM. br / br / PLEASE NOTE : IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY AFTER 11PM.

Mousehole two miles south of Penzance is the archetypal Cornish village and boasts what is said to be one of the most beautiful harbours in Britain. Sheltered from the Atlantic s fury there is a low tide beach from the harbour you can take a boat trip or venture along the breathtaking coastal path and in the charming streets of fisherman s cottages you will find craft shops cafes and galleries. The Ship Inn is a traditional pub located on the harbour right in the heart of this traditional Cornish fishing village. Food is served all year round and is made using only local ingredients which can be enjoyed in the cosy bar and characterful restaurant with views of the harbour. Most of our 8 en-suite rooms overlook the harbour all are tastefully decorated in calming neutral colours and are well appointed a stay here fulfils the Small and Friendly promise of a perfect weekend break!
