 Ruthern Valley Camping is an ideally situated family friendly campsite located just off the A30, to the west of Bodmin. The 8 acre site limits the number of pitches to 22, spread over 4 designated camping areas, ensuring space and privacy for campers. Children are encouraged to explore freely and the campsite has no noisy bar or clubhouse.
Ruthern Valley's central location means it is simple to visit any of Cornwall's beaches, towns or tourist attractions. For the less hardy there are static wigwams and camping huts on site. South Penquite Farm
 South Penquite is a 200 acre working hill farm situated high on Bodmin Moor between the villages of Blisland and St Breward.
We are a demonstration holding for both the Soil Association and the Westcountry Rivers Trust, and as well as offering camping & four Mongolian Yurts we have facilities for field studies and opportunities for educational groups and schools to learn about local environment. There is much to do and see on and around the farm which achieved organic status in 2001. As well as running a flock of 200 ewes and a herd of 20 cows the farm is exceptionally rich in archaeological remains and wildlife. We also have many horses, ponies, chickens, geese, ducks and of course our faithful working collies without whose help we could not run the farm.

Camelford
Belle Tents
 Stay in a beautiful, fully kitted-out Belle Tent at Owls Gate on a small, private site with campfire, and experience 'glamping' at its most relaxed. Beds, duvets and a fully fitted out kitchen tent are all provided, just bring linen, food and yourselves.
Owls Gate is set in 2½ acres of gardens on the edge of Bodmin Moor and 5 miles from the North Cornwall coast. Secluded at the end of a farm track, Owls Gate is on the side of a shallow valley and is surrounded on three sides by open farmland, home to ponies and rare breed cattle. To the north it is protected by beech trees, beyond which is our only neighbour (100 metres). Close by we have our workshop where we make beautiful garden tents and marquees to order.
The campsite is a south and west facing field with the south bordering onto farmland. It is divided into three shallow terraces with young trees, shrubs and flowers. There is a sunken lane giving direct access, a walk of about 15 minutes, to Davidstow Moor and Bodmin Moor.
Charlestown
Broad Meadow House
 Broad Meadow House Campsite lies yards from the historic port of Charlestown on the South Cornwall coast, near St. Austell. Highly regarded by those 'in the know' and recently reviewed in the Daily Telegraph, the campsite is small but beautifully formed. The pair of tiny fields have stunning views out to sea and along the coast towards Black Head.
Broad Meadow has two geese, a ‘posh shed’, three permanent tents and plenty of space for people who’d rather bring their own. Since the owners limit the number of campers on site to a mere dozen, you get the distinct feeling of being one of an incredibly privileged few. This is especially true if you order a delicious breakfast basket (including freshly made smoothie) to be brought to your tent in the morning.

It is a quiet site set in a rural location within extensive woodlands owned and managed by the Forestry Commision. Lizard
Henry's Campsite
 A small, family-run site, the most southerly in Great Britain, in a rural area with a spectacular sea view. Most pitches have sea views and are level, secluded with shrubs, tropical & Mediterranean plants.
There are showers, WC's, hot water and fresh water on site and ice blocks can be frozen for you. There is a washing machine and phone charging facilities.
Although not a working farm, they keep chickens, ducks and pigs and guinea pigs! Henry's welcome dogs and there are lots of children on site during the summer holidays. Situated at the top of Caerthillian Valley, near to the coastal footpath, the site is also handy for beaches such as Pentreath, Polpeor, Housel Bay and the spectacular Kynance Cove. Within a couple of minutes walk, though out of view, is the village centre where you can find a Post Office, groceries, fish and chips, cafes, gift shops, pasty shop, pubs, and the opportunity to buy fresh fish, crab and lobster.
