After your arrival and registration, you will attend a briefing, which will explain safety procedures and basic sailing theory. The instructor will explain the all important instructions on how to stop and you will be encouraged to move across the wind and then turn up wind letting the sail out to bring the kart to a halt. You will also be taught how to circle the kart and how to ‘tack’. As you practice at either end of a cross wind course forming a figure of eight you’ll soon build your confidence with the help of your expert instructor. You may even have chance to take part in a short race with your group to demonstrate your new-found skills.
