Just about a mile from the spectacular beaches of Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth, a world of golden sand, rolling surf and scenic cliff walks awaits those who long for freedom and the great outdoors. Built in the 1930's but now redesigned and renovated to a superb standard for modern living. Also close by lies the busy little village of St Mawgan and its Japanese Garden is well worth a visit, Merlins Golf Club and driving range is nearby, and the championship golf course at Trevose will provide a challenging day out for any golfer. When eating out you will be spoilt for choice with nearby eating places including an inn located just a short stroll along the road, Jamie Oliver's 15 restaurant down in Watergate Bay, or cafes, shops and beachside pub down the other side of the hill in Mawgan Porth. Just 6 miles from Newquay and 9 miles from Padstow, there is much to explore.

There is much to see and do around the area without travelling too far. The famous Jamie Oliver Fifteen restaurant is only a few miles away and well worth a visit and the traditional fishing village of Padstow is about a 15 minute car drive and offers some unique shops and restaurants. If you fancy a day out, then why not travel down to St Ives, Penzance, or the world famous Eden Project; all can be reached within an hours drive.

The cottage has been completely renovated yet retains many original features such as exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace with clome oven which has been carefully preserved. This traditional cottage is positioned close to many sandy beaches along the north coast, which can easily be reached via the nearby coast path. Watergate Bay is one of the closest and hosts the famous Jamie Oliver restaurant, which is well worth a visit. You will also be just a few miles from the bustling seaside resort of Newquay, which is famous for its Summer festivals and spectacular surfing beaches, along with its many shops, restaurants, pubs, boating lake and sports centre with a splash fun pool. Many local attractions to suit all tastes include Crealy Adventure Park, Go Karting Centre, Newquay Zoo, Blue Reef Aquarium and much more. Venture a little further and visit St Ives, Padstow, Falmouth or The Eden Project which are all within a 40 minute drive.
