Just a few minutes drive from the beautiful Daymer Bay beach at Trebetherick, also for windsurfers, and Polzeath beach for board surfing, this semi-detached bungalow is set in a quiet residential area. Ideally located for the North Cornish Coast, this is an excellent holiday base for touring this wonderful coastline. Rock offers a variety of well stocked small shops, and a choice of water sports including sailing, windsurfing and water skiing. There is also a foot ferry from the beach to Padstow. Padstow itself offers a selection of excellent restaurants including Rick Stein’s Seafood restaurant, pubs and shops. Its picturesque harbour lined with colourful fishing boats is an ideal spot to sit and soak up the relaxed atmosphere. There are pleasant walks with lovely estuary views leading to many sandy secluded coves. The Camel Trail is just a short drive offering cycling and horse riding. There are also 3 great golf courses to choose from, all close by. Shops 1/2 mile, pub 300 yards.

Luxury coastal holiday home in Rock, North Cornwall. Stunning coastal homestay offering state of the art luxury and spacious family living. Traditional Georgian charm combines with more contemporary order, stripped floorboards and lovely muted colours offer a fresh and spacious feel. Marvellous attention to detail from the etched glass pane telling a nautical tale to the carved mahogany symmetrical stairwells. Local and natural materials have been used throughout. Bedrooms: Choose from two master bedrooms each with sumptuous 5 ft beds, a further two king/superking doubles are available each with lovely garden views. Two twin bedrooms complete the collection of well appointed rooms for up to 12 guests. Both of the master bedrooms have beautiful contemporary beach chic bathrooms including carved Carerra marble basins, separate bath and shower, a further family bathroom with bath and hand-held shower can be found on the first floor. Downstairs a generous wet room with toilet, ideal for those sandy feet off the beach. Relax in a garden chair with a good book, sink into the sumptuous crisp linens after a day in the elements or indulge in an in-house massage (by prior arrangement) in the privacy of Shores House. Dig out the garden games, wander down to the pretty Porthilly Cove for a morning dip or hop on the ferry across the waters to Padstow.

This lovely terraced cottage is set in a quiet village and is less than 5 minutes to the popular sandy beach resort of Rock, which offers excellent sailing and a ferry ride to Padstow with Rick Stein's restaurant. It is just a short drive to a host of popular beaches as well as being less than 2 miles from three beaches, one for sailing, another for families and also the famous surfing beach of Polzeath. Wadebridge is again just a short drive where you can gain access to the Camel Trail which is great for cycling. The cottage is only a few steps from the friendly village pub which also offers good food.

The accommodation is full of character and original features and offers three bedrooms: 1 double and 2 singles with 4ft beds. Bathroom with shower over and WC. Kitchen with cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. Lounge with TV, video, DVD and feature electric fireplace. Outside there is a mature enclosed garden approached by a couple of steps from the kitchen with seating. Off-road parking for 2 cars. Bed linen, electric and night storage heating included. This lovely semi-detached cottage is situated in one of Cornwall’s most popular areas and is just a few minutes from the village of Rock, a haven for water based leisure pursuits such as sailing, rowing and water skiing. Enjoy a small trip, via a foot ferry, across the estuary to the bustling fishing village of Padstow with its array of galleries, shops and Rick Stein restaurants. Directly outside the property is a footpath which meanders down to the superb sandy beaches of Polzeath, approx 1 mile, or a few minutes drive takes you to Daymer Bay which is excellent for families. The Camel Trail, popular with walkers and cyclists, is only 15 minutes drive at Wadebridge and from here you can follow the estuary to Padstow or take the woodland trail to Bodmin. Explore the picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac and Tintagel, famous for its Arthurian Legends or visit the many attractions within driving distance such as Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Newquay Sealife Centre and Crealy Adventure Park. In the evenings stroll to the local family pub serving good food.
