Lies at the very heart of the village of Downderry in South East Cornwall around 100 metres from the village pub, post office and grocerey shop and just a few metres further from a wide sandy beach. There are tea rooms and a small restaurant even closer welcoming visitors. We welcome well behaved dogs. The cottage is on the South West Coast Path making it ideal for walkers as well as holiday makers. The cottage dates back to 1760 and has two comfortable en-suite double bedrooms - one of which can be arranged as a twin. Price: £403 - 923 per week

This luxury detached house is believed to be one of only 30 between Plymouth and Mevagissey with its own private access directly onto a beach. With a large enclosed sunny garden there are steps directly to the seashore. Approached via a private road, the property is set in a quiet and peaceful location in the popular village of Downderry, whereby you will be only a few minutes stroll to the pub, shop and restaurant.The area is popular with walkers with some lovely stretches of cliff top walks taking you in different routes along the picturesque coastline to other beaches and traditional fishing villages. For boating lovers, the large parking area at the front of the property offers facilities for storing a boat with a public slipway being only a few minutes walk away. You will be ideally placed for touring the whole of Cornwall with attractions to suit all tastes being within a short drive and these include historic Plymouth with its Hoe, Barbican, National Marine Aquarium, Theatre and high street shops. The Eden Project, numerous National Trust properties and gardens, The Tate Gallery at St Ives, Flambards Theme Park to name but a few. In the evenings enjoy the lovely sunsets directly from the garden, stroll the beach or relax in the conservatory.

The accommodation is furnished and equipped to a high standard and offers five bedrooms, many with good views. Upstairs offers 1 king-size double with single bed and en-suite bathroom with WC, also one other king-size bedroom. Downstairs offers 3 king-size double bedrooms one of which also contains a single bed. Family bathroom with shower cubicle, large corner bath and WC. Large kitchen/diner with cooker, fridge, microwave and many useful extras. Adjacent utility area with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, Separate WC. Further large fridge/freezer in out building. Large feature lounge with 50" LCD TV, DVD, SkyTV, oak floor and adjacent conservatory with seating. Large garden with seating and moveable BBQ. This area is famed for its lovely scenery and keen walkers will enjoy the clifftop walks of the Cornish coastal path. Travel further afield and enjoy the many attractions the area has to offer, including historic Plymouth with its Hoe, Barbican, Theatre and National Marine Aquarium, less than 20 miles away. Other easily accessible attractions include numerous National Trust houses and gardens, The Eden Project, Bodmin Moor and the fishing villages of Looe and Polperro. In the evenings relax on your own private balcony and enjoy the breathtaking views.

The accommodation is approached by steps from the off-road parking bay and occupies the first and second floors of the house (there is a self-contained annex on the ground floor with separate access). Most rooms have sea views and there are four bedrooms: 1 double with TV and Freeview with en-suite bathroom with shower over and WC, 1 twin and 2 singles. Bathroom: with mixer shower and WC. Kitchen: well-equipped with breakfast bar, double oven, halogen hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave, Lounge/diner: leading from the kitchen, large area with TV, Freeview, DVD and patio door to large balcony.
