Bodmin Friendly Bed & Breakfast with great views. Idealy located to the Eden Project, and the rest of Cornwall. We are on the edge of Bodmin only 1 mile from Lanhydrock Golf Club and 5 minute drive to Lanhydrock House. Walkers and Cyclist are always welcome as we are close to the Camel Trail and a sustrans cycle route to Lanhydrock house and Gardens. We are surounded by coastal walks and The Copper trail circles Bodmin Moor, and the All Saints Way from Padstow to Fowey. In easy walking distance to the Dragon Leisure Centre facilities include :- swimming pool, tennis, squash and bar. There are 2 small shops close by and the town centre only 1.5 miles. There are a Number of fine dinning establishments within Bodmin and the surrounding area. We do advise, to avoid disappointment in peak holiday times, to book well in advance. To add to your holiday break enjoyment we offer and advise you to book a meal at one of our local eateries, as they do get fully booked. If you would like this, we will recommend and book a table for you in your name in advance of your arrival. Start your break in the right way with a lovely meal without the hassle of trying to find some where after what might have been a long journey. The takeaways in Bodmin are great but don't let this be the only option if this is not what you want or enjoy, as we want you to enjoy your stay. Lostwithiel Penrose is a beautiful victorian house with large ensuite bedrooms. Most of the rooms have views over Lostwithiel and the surrounding countryside. All the rooms have TV & DVD/CD player, hairdryer and a luxury beverage tray including bottled mineral water; the ensuites have fresh towels, shampoo/conditioner and shower gel. The centre of town is a 5 minute walk where there are lots of pubs, restaurants, river walks, shops, church and lots more. Penrose is only 10 minutes away from the Eden Project and Lanhydrock House and gardens. We need to point out that Laterooms do not take the payment of your stay on you making the booking, even though you have given your card details. At Penrose B&B we can accept cash or a sterling cheque on your departure, however we are not set up to accept credit cards. We hope this does not affect your staying with ourselves.
