Being a cottage, our rooms are not huge. It's all about our large comfy beds with fresh cotton bed linen. We have en-suite facilities, with ground floor option. Rooms have broadbandWiFi, Freeview TV, DVD and USB port. They also have a 'quiet' fridge with fresh milk, hot drink making facilities, hair dryer and a, not so quiet, alarm clock. We have ample parking and some, open garaging, which is appreciated by cyclists, surfers and guests touring on motorbikes. There is relaxed seating in the heated garden room, beside the dining room, to hide away and read the paper, magazines or a good book. The mature gardens and orchard have various seating areas, perfect to sit and relax with a glass of wine, or a bottle of beer, weather permitting!!Our happy free range chickens, supply us with eggs for breakfast, during the summer months. We have adopted, a number of ducks, who provide us with much entertainment and also have, four cats who spend most of their time eating and sleeping.Although we are on the outskirts of Hayle, we recommend, that you have your own transport. Or should you prefer to travel to Cornwall by train, we can give you details, to arrange car hire, prior to your visit.Please note, a cooked breakfast menu for 8.30 a.m. is available from April to the end of September. Hayle has a fantastic sandy beach and you can walk to Gwithian and Godrevy Point which overlooks the lighthouse and is well known for birdwatching and you may be lucky and see seals and dolphins on your walk.

a 250-year-old cottage built on the sandy isthmus separating the Garrison from the rest of St. Mary's at Hugh Town. It is a quaint, friendly, centrally heated guesthouse offering individuality and an informal atmosphere. It is conveniently situated overlooking the park, close to shops, beaches and the harbour from where boats run daily to the off islands. There are facilities available on St. Mary's for fishing, sailing, diving, golf, riding and cycling also tennis, squash and windsurfing. Wednesday and Friday evenings Gig-Racing is scheduled. You can participate by cheering from the quay or jump on a tripper boat to follow the actual gig race.

Our six bedrooms are prettily furnished, all offering wash basins, shaver points, hair driers and facilities for making a selection of hot drinks. All have TV/DVD players. 0n 29 September 1891 the discerning Mr Jenkins purchased from Mr Berryman a new dwelling. Number 41 Morrab (Sea Shore) Road. At this time Queen Victoria had been Queen of England for 55 years. Isambard Kingdom Brunel had just played his part in the great Industrial age, building his bridges and ships. The Newlyn School of artists, Henry Tuke, Norman Garstin and Stanhope Forbes were painting their enduring masterpieces of Cornwall. Gilbert and Sullivan had written Iolanthe and the Pirates of Penzance, while Sir Arthur Conan Doyle had still to pen yet further adventures for Sherlock Holmes. Some 90 years later Number 41, became The Lynwood Guest house, a Victorian built retreat for weary travellers and holidaymakers. The house still retains its Victorian feel but with a sensible portion of modern conveniences for the comfort and pleasure of those who need to relax in a home from home. Situated next to the Tinners Arms in Zennor is the White House, a Grade II listed building, which used to be known as 'Bos Cres', Cornish for "house in the middle". Built in 1838, the White House was extensively restored and modernised by the present owners in 2005 to provide two double en-suite rooms and two single rooms which share a bathroom. All guest rooms are situated on the first floor. We have free WIFI available in all rooms.
