Smugglers Tunnels Found

Contractors working at Pender's Yard, Jennings Street, close to the Wharfside Shopping Mall and Ross Bridge Penzance, have unearthed what appear to be two tunnels used by smugglers many years ago. One tunnel is said to be large enough to enter and proceed a few feet before returning. A Cornwall in Focus Reporter stated yesterday.
