St MawesGateway to the Roseland Peninsula, the town of St. Mawes. St Mawes has to be one of the most exclusive waterside locations. There are plenty of things to do and lots of places to stay including cottages as well as the more upmarket hotels. Being positioned within the Gulf Stream, the climate in St Mawes is mild all year round. Many visitors take the ferry across Carrick Roads from Falmouth or cross on the King Harry Ferry at Trelissick and drive down. The area is really best seen on foot however. Well worth a visit.
