Gunnislake VillageAbout GunnislakeGunnislake (Cornish: Lynngonna) lies on the banks of the River Tamar. The village is a hot spot for tourists and visitors interested in mining and industrial heritage. The village has a population of about 2000 people, a far cry from the heady days of the mid nineteenth century. Gunnislake is widely known as being one of the richest Copper mining areas in Europe providing around 7000 jobs at its peak in 1862.
