Long Rock beach is named after the rocks situated at the mid point of the three mile stretch of beach running from Eastern Green to St. Michael's Mount. This south facing beach consists of sand and patches of fine shingle. There are a couple of good car parks along this coast at the Station House Inn and further east next to the nature reserve of Marazion Marsh. The outstanding feature of the area is the magical St. Michael's Mount, standing over 460 feet above the sea.
